VIAGEM DE SI FU PARA FATSAN 2006 [SI FU´S FATSAN '06 TRIP]

BLOG DO PEREIRA ESPECIAL:
VIAGEM DE MESTRE JULIO CAMACHO A LOCAIS HISTÓRICOS DO VING TSUN E DO KUNG FU.

PEARTREE´S BLOG SPECIAL: MASTER JULIO CAMACHO´s TRIP TO HiSTORyCAL VING TSUN AND GENERAL KUNG FU PLACES.

Sibaak gung Lester Lau , Sibaak gung Nelson Chan and a group are going to travel to a lot of hystorical places of Ving Tsun this year, and while the photos of this great adventure dont come, Peartree´s Blog gives to you a special aboute the travel of Master Julio Camacho to a fabulous journey!

By the end of 2006, my Si fu, Master Julio Camacho, who is in charge of MYVT in Rio, go for a trip to FatSan and Hong Kong, with a big group from US, who also had the great presence of Ms. Helen Moy.
In this trip, Sifu and Si sok Fabio Gomes, and also Si sok Marcelo Abreu (who lived there at that time and was a very important person in this trip), represented Brasil, visiting a lot of historycal places for Ving Tsun and Kung Fu(like the home of the two special students of later grand-master Ip Man, the Ip Man Tong, the famous Ching Woo kung fu school, etc) Beside that, the could have some trainning experiences with people from other Ving Tsun families, but more important, they brought a lot of funny histories, that I ´ll try to remember and tell to you here!

I´d like to start with one of the last talks between Si fu and Si sok Fabio, already coming back to Brasil inside the plain.

Si sok Fabio Gomes, is a Qualified Master of MYVT, but he doesnt have a KF Family, he prefered to work with Ving Tsun in security strategies for Special Forces, like the Elite Squad of Rio´s Police, the BOPE in the begginning of this decade. He´s from MEsquita, a city of the State of Rio de Janeiro, and as Si fu says, he loves his hometown 'till today.
So, they were on the plain when Si sok said:

"I´ve always dream about take a real Kung Fu Master to Mesquita...Today, he is coming back at there , and I know that he was all right!"

This words touch me a lot, and telling you about this trip, I hope you all understand "why"...

ESPECIAL VIAGEM A CHINA E HONG KONG
PARTE 1:
CAMINHO PARA FAT SAN

CHINA AND HONG KONG TOUR '06 SPECIAL:
PART 1
WAT TO FATSAN

O praticante perguntou:
-Sensei, no Japão ainda existem ninjas?
O Mestre respondeu:
-Sim , claro. E no Brasil? Ainda existem canibais?

Some fools would like to visit Japan, 'cause they think that there is the same of Samurai times, others would like to go to China, 'cause they think that if they stop at a restaurant , a fight in Wuxia proportions will happen! And there is a little story ,that is true till I know, about a japanese kenjutsu master and a brazilian practioner, in ocasion of the visit of this master in Brazil:
The practioner said:
-Sensei, is it true that in japan still existis Ninjas?
The master answers:
-Oh! off course! And about Brazil? Is there any cannibals*?

The real martial artist feeds a strange conection with the homeland of its art, but dont a connection about fantasy, but a smart connection, a connection that makes he dont want to loose his time, visiting places who saw in movies, but visit places that really has a value, and a meaning for his martial art.

Vera.

When Si Fu left Brazil to FatSan, a small group was at airport to say "goodbye" for him and Si Sok Fabio Gomes who was with him in this journey: from left to right: Thiago Silva,Si Sok Andre' ,
Si Mo Daniela Camacho,Jade Camacho, Si Sok Fabio Gomes, Julia Camacho, Si Fu and his mother, Ms. Vera.

On this photo, we can see that another Si Fu´s dai ji showed up that day: Xenia D'avila (dressing red)

Si Fu in a moment with his Family before the plane left , and before he goes for one of his greatest adventures out of Brazil 'till that day!

Si Fu and Si Sok already on the plane. A loooong travel was waiting for then, but comparing with Marco Polo had passed to find out the pasta and Ice Cream in China , that was easy! hehe

Si Sok Marcelo Abreu, asked his wife, Ms. Ming , to send a taxi driver wait for then at the ariport, and warned Si Fu that a man by the name Cheng (or something as commom as Bob or Jack in Chinese) are going to wait then holding a plate writen on:" Julio Camacho, a long time China waits for this visit."

Si Fu also said that have imaginated that nothing was going to be writen on the plate, but just something like "Julio Camacho".

But when they get already at the Guangzhou airport, there was no Cheng or a writen plate! But suddenly a small chinese fella showed up poiting his finger to Si Fu and screamming:

"BA SAI?!" "BA SAI?!"

(Yeah, I´ve also tought that he was the kid from "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" but he wasn´t!)

So , the chinese man got Si Fu´s suitcase with wheels and start to run, with Si Fu and Si Sok after him!!
With the cantonese that Si Fu knows, he found out, that he wasn´t Cheng, cause Cheng had a problem, and this guy would take then to FatSan and after that he had an another appointment, but he was already late and trow the Taxi on the Bikes space!

And when I say "Bike space" I say something like this!!

A esta altura, Si Sok Fabio Gomes dizia:
"Julio !

By this moment , Si Sok Fabio Gomes was saying:

"Julio! Have you ever seen "Red Corner" starring Richard Gere? If the police arrest us, we will also have to pay the bullets!"

None of then was arrested, and executed... So after check in at the Hotel, Si Sok Marcelo Abreu took then till the Jo Miu Temple, for a meeting with one of the most famous chinese seals makers. Cause he has a small store inside the Temple´s complex.

Si Fu says, that in China, there are a lot of parks a little bit smallers than Central Park and the people go for kung fu , sports and etc... and they also have some complex like this! This one was special cause later grand-master Ip man used to trainning there!

Si Sok Marcelo Abreu tells that on another occasion, when he met the Mister behind the counter for the first time,he asked if he could make some seals for him, since people had said he was the best. The man then said: "The best was Moy Yat, I learned a kind of technique to make seals with him, but unfortunately he passed away."

Si Sok Marcelo Abreu get very touched, and said he is a second generation disciple of Si Taai Gung Moy Yat .

In Moy Yat Clan, when a person does the Baai Si, which is the Ceremony of Discipleship, the practitioner gets a "Kung Fu Name ." This name is not a nickname or a "codename", this is a name that includes the practitioner in that family tree for life, making him or her a Dai Ji.
The Kung Fu name, usually has a warning for the person, because it denotes a negative characteristic, but can also highlight another feature that person has. But the kung fu name can have several connotations, including fun of the sounds of words.
Looking at an example of what I love most, my Si Sok, Ursula Lima, which is called in Kung Fu "Moy Lin Ma," has on her name "Moy", from "Moy Family", and also have "Lin", corresponding to the "Lotus", and "Ma" which means "Horse "... the interpretations are endless, but taking into account that the horse is an animal of great power, and the lotus is delicate, could say that the Si Sok Ursula who is also full of energy when she trains, if she "do not take care of the 'horse' it will steps on the lotus and its strength becomes only brute force, "or if she " balance the lotus with the horse, she may have the great power of the horse but with delicacy of the lotus ..."

Thus, when a Kung Fu fella earns his Kung Fu name, it was usually given by the Si Taai Gung Moy Yat, and not only that, Si Taai Gung also used to make the seal with the kung fu name of the person . This art is highly respected throughout mainland China and out of its borders, and now after he passed away, Si Fu could get some seals for several members of the clan made by this gentleman with great care.

ESPECIAL VIAGEM A CHINA E HONG KONG

PARTE 2: MUSEU DE IP MAN (IP MAN TONG)
parte 1:

SPECIAL POST: CHINA AND HONG KONG TRIP

PART 2: IP MAN’S MUSEUM (IP MAN TONG)

Part 1:

Ip Man, o patriarca do Sistema Ving Tsun, é venerado em todo o mundo.

That’s it folks! We’ve finally arrived at Ip Man’s Museum, a really important place to all Ving Tsun practitioners around the globe, and these pictures are going to help us discover “Why”...

Ip Man, Ving Tsun System Patriarch, is worshipped in the whole world. His life history is magical and easily gives us that “Legend” feeling. Last year, a movie about his life was released, and there is an old Review right here on this Blog.

What is told is that Mr. Chan Wah Shun (the Ving Tsun Patriarch before Ip Man), used to teach Ving Tsun in one of the Ip Family’s numerous properties. Even as a child, Ip Man managed to be accepted in Chan Wah Shun’s Kung Fu Family, but the old master knew he wouldn’t be able to finish the Kung Fu teachings of his young pupil...

Ving Tsun have always been made of small groups, but “groups” nevertheless. In this case, one of Ip Man’s Sihings helped him in completing his Kung Fu, but it doesn’t really matter, because you only have one Si Fu and he is the one that made possible for you completing your studies, even after his death. That’s why Ip Man succeeded Chan Wah Shun in Ving Tsun’s genealogy.

Another relevant fact is that in Fat San, Ip Man is only another master (in due proportion). Is something like a master with the experience from teaching for 15 years watching a 10 year old boy’s admission, and decades later, the boy becomes the greatest referential in that style throughout the world...

Chan Wah Shun had others students besides Ip Man, and those students had many others themselves, so on and so forth. Then you arrive at Fat San and find an Ip Man’s Museum, even though he was so young in comparison to his Sihings... that is really astonishing.

“Tong” in chinese, means “great hall”

According to my Si Fu, there are many museums in China and it’is usually prohibited to take pictures inside these places, but the Blog guarantees you that these pictures below were taken with the Museum’s Curator approval.

At the entrance, you find na Ip Man’s bust. A wonderful piece of art! One of those that I admire most, since I find incredible shaping a human being in these materials.

Si Fu inside the Museum, in this part lies the pictures of the Kung Fu Families that descend from the Patriarch through the world.

Maybe Si Taai Gung Moy Yat had never heard much about Brazil before leaving Hong Kong. However, his Clan widened here through his disciple, Moy Yat Sang (Master Leo Imamura).

In this wall, we can observe every Moy Yat Sang Clan’s Mo Guns at that time.

This picture is the first one. It was taken during Grand Master Moy Yat’s last trip to Brasil.

In another picture, we can see our old Mo Gun, located in Jacarepaguá, Rio de Janeiro, we moved to Barra de Tijuca in 2005.

This picture was taken in 2001, I had just turned 17 and can be seen inside the red circle

Si Sok Ursula, one of the pillars of MYVT-RJ, alongside Sifu and Simo, also appears on the picture.

This one I marked, because by the time this picture was taken he was one of the most important members during the day on the Mo Gun. Fernando Xavier .

Si Baak Gung Micky Chan was touched when met him after finding out that Xavier rode his bike everyday from Madureira (North Zone) to Jacarepagua (West Zone) to in order to practice Ving Tsun.

Nosso próximo entrevistado no Mo Gun All Stars, também marca presença, nesta foto: Si Sok Diego Guadelupe!

Our next guest in Mo Gun All Stars also appears on this picture: Si Sok Diego Guadelupe!

Si Sok Fernanda, also known as "Nandinha", member of the Moy Yat Sang Family. She is one of the few women in Rio that reached the Baat Jaam Do.

This one is Cristiano Chaves, a great student and my lifelong partner of Maai San Jong
Esta é Si Sok Inês Braconnot.
This one is Si Sok Ines Braconnot.

Obviamente Si Fu estava na foto!

And of course, Si Fu was also on this picture!

Greater than the childish sensation that you appears on a picture in Chine, is to know tha your Clan has it’s place in the Museum of the man that is considered to be one of the greatest Kung Fu masters of all times!

PARTE 3

Você esperou...
Você achou que tinhamos esquecido...

You waited...

You thought we'd forgotten...

But we finally returned to Master Julio Camacho's saga on the other side of the globe, visiting Ving Tsun's historical places in Fat San and Hang Kong!!!

No more waiting, let's continue!!!

MUSEU DE IP MAN (IP MAN TONG) :

As we can notice on this picture, there are many pictures on this room that is called "Disciples Section".

A foto Si-To (Mestre-Discípulo) de Si Taai Gung Moy Yat e o patriarca Ip Man está lá.

The Si-To picture (Master-Disciple) of Si Taai Gung Moy Yat and Patriarch Ip Man is there. I feel touched by this picture, because this is the kind of thing that shows us the importance of genealogy and ancestry as a tool of legitimate art.

This part is dedicated to Bruce Lee. On the upper left side, we can see the famous picture of a young Bruce Lee with his Si Fu.

A triste foto do funeral do lendário Patriarca no inicio dos anos 70 em Hong Kong.

The sad picture of the legendary Patriarch's burial on the seventies in Hong Kong.

Si Sok Marcelo Abreu prepares for another picture! Everything allowed by the Museum's Curator.

Si Sok Marcelo Abreu is an icon inside our Clan, unluckly I've never had much time with him, but my Si Fu always talks greatly about him.

Si Fu(de preto) ao lado de Si Taai Po Helen Moy e Si Sok Fabio Gomes(também mestre pela MYVT).

Si Fu (in black), Si Taai Po Helen Moy and Si Sok Fabio Gomes (also a master of MYVT).

They may had even dreamed about this, but I'm pretty sure that when these three comrades started practicing, they couldn't imagine that they would be representing brazilian's Clan (MYVT) in China.

I must say that Si Sok Marcelo Abreu, Si Fu and Si Sok Fabio Gomes had the weight of the world on their backs, and, in my opinion, they were great.

Si Fu (left) and Si Baak Gung Pete Pajil.

This Si Baak Gung is the Master responsible for Philadelphia Branch of MYVT, and is one of the most revered practitioners from Si Taai Gung Moy Yat's old group.

I had the pleasure of seen with my own eyes how he is able to transform Ving Tsun moves in almost anything with an impressive logic base! It's unbelievable!

Si Fu besides the Jong and the Baat Jaam Do.

Strictly, according to the Classical Chinese Thinking, a Kung Fu school never exposes it's "DO" (knifes), except when in "War". But it's fairly commom for us to see these exposed knifes with their hilts above their blades. If it's hanging, a hilt pointing down would make much more sense. But that's why, in museums like this one, they hang this way. Exposing the knifes with their hilts up indicates that thay are a decorative piece and nothing more than that!

(Alguém aí lembrou do cenário do personagem Fei Long, de "Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo"??)

Si Fu and Si Sok took advantage of the beautiful scene in order to take some pictures doing Chi Sau! (Does anyone just remembered Fei Long's stage in Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo?)

Ryu and Akuma fight on Fei Long's stage in "Street Fighter".

Master Kevin Martin (dressing blue) poses for a picture. The funny part of this scene is that according to my Si Fu, Master Kevin was doing some moves for the pictures when a lot of passerbys started taking pictures too, probably thinking: "Must be someone really famous, let me take one too!"

Now, throughout south Asia, there are many pictures of Master Kevin! That's a good story! hehe ^_^

MUSEU DE WONG FEI HUNG(WONG FEI HUNG TONG):

WONG FEI HUNG MUSEUM (WONG FEI HUNG TONG):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fRUWtuztIY

You can say whatever pleases you, but I can bet that at least once, you went to a Kung Fu presentation and heard "Wong Fei Tung" theme music playing on the distance:

Music with lyrics link on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fRUWtuztIY

This music was recorded in many versions (Instrumental, remix, trance, metal, Van Halen already played, etc.) and was stonecarved by tha movie "Once Upon a Time in China", with Jet Li as tha famous patriarch Wong Fei Hung, from Hung Ga style! I'll tell you one thing, listen to this music one or two times and you'll be willing to save China! It's a heroic music by itself! hehe I've already restored Han Dynasty about 20 times! hehe

Si Fu went to Wong Fei Hung museum and guess what was playing? "WONG FEI HUNG THEME!!!" Si Fu told us that this music stayed with him for a long time.
In this picture we see tha fantastic presentation of the "Lion Dance"!

Wong Fei Hung was one of the greatests Kung Fu Masters in all Chinese history! There are millions of movies about him!
On Ip Man's movie, the Master that arrives in FatSan willing to defeat every Si Fu, when eating with his goons, says: "I thought that everyone here were as good as Wong Fei Hung!"
Weapons used by Wong Fei Hung are exposed on the museum of this Hung Ga ancestor.
In my opinion, this is an thrilling picture, I love Kung Fu, I love history and that is a visible part of history by a great Master.

CLÃ MOY YAT VISITA A CHING WOO
MOY YAT CLAN VISITS CHING WOO

Thanks to this man, one of the greatests martial arts school was created in China!
At the FatSan branch, the three styles that were considered "rivals": Hung Ga, Ving Tsun e Chou Lay Fut had it's training facilities on the same place!
It would be like getting together Arizona Cardinal's supporters with Pittsburg Steelers' at the same office! Or maybe I'm just overreacting... hehe
Huo Yuan Jia, fundou a Associação Ching Woo em ShangHai, e o Clã Moy Yat liderado por Si taai Po Helen Moy esteve em sua sede em Fat San.
Huo Yuan Jia founded Ching Woo Association, in ShangHai and Moy Yat Clan, headed by Si Taai Po Helen Moy visited the FatSan branch.

I already said that relating to patriarch Ip Man, but I'll repeat citing Si Taai Gung Moy Yat...
Imagine that you live in a country, in a district that exhales martial arts, and you are just another one at a famous art with many masters from different lineages. You're everyone's Si Dai, you're called Ip Man. Now you must travel to Hong Kong and many decades later, one of your disciple's wife, whom was not from FatSan, is received with all tha honors at one of the greatests Kung Fu centers of the world!
That's absolutely thrilling!
On the right side, we can see Si Taai Po Helen Moy sitting on Ching Woo honor chair, besides the director (whose name I can't remember, sadly).
The left chair (on a Jing Tong) is reserved to a Si Fu's master, the Si Gung. Notice that Ching Woo director, invites Si Taai Po to sit there.

Si Fu posa para foto.
Si Fu poses for a picture.

There were many presentations about the three southern styles practiced there!

Si Fu trades experience with another Ving Tsun lineage practicioner, not patriarch Ip Man's one, in Fat San this is the rule. Notice how interesting is his Chi Sau!

In front of Huo Yuan Jia bronze bust, Si Taai Po prepares to watch the exhibitions.

A galera vai se distraindo e trocando figurinhas!
People have fun and "trade" knowledge!

As we're all humans, Si Sok Marcelo Abreu, Si Sok Fabio Gomes and two other friends stop by to have dinner!
The one in blue is like a local hero, because he used Ving Tsun to save some people.

No meio do restaurante também vale!
Even in restaurant, everything goes!

CHING WOO PARTE 2

CHING WOO PART 2

Segundo dia...
Second day...

This picture is wonderful, notice Si Baak Gung Pete...
What do you think he'll do next:

a) Thank the man and get away

b)Wave his right hand saying: "That's allright but you forgot about this one"

c) Counter with a 16 hit combo!

Nenhuma das opções anteriores...
None of the above...

A MÁQUINA DE MESQUITA.

MESQUITA'S MACHINE

Mesquita is a small city in the State of Rio. It's really far, has many transportation problems but, just like Rocha Miranda (Rio's city suburbs), the ones who live there never forgets...
Mesquita may have many structural problems, but from there came this citizen above...
On the Kung Fu family, Si Fu is older than Si Sok Marcelo Abreu, that is older than Si Sok Fabio Gomes. Caring for his Si Hing, a Si Dai always take part in demonstrations, if his techniques are not enough, the Si Hing comes in, if it happens again, another Si Hing enters, untill they have to call Chapolin Colorado. But do you think they got through the first one?

Si Sok Fabio Gomes didn't let them down!
He is one of MYVT Masters here in Brazil. He owns a Jiu Pai with formal authorization to establish his Kung Fu family, but instead he does a great job with brazilian Special Forces.

Patriarch Ip Man got really famous in the martial arts world after moving to Hong Kong, around his fifties. Many people overlook the fact that when in FatSan, he had a small number of students. Nowadays, they're all elders still preserving knowledge about a young Ip Man and about the buried Jong (wooden dummy), not in wall support. At this moment, Si Baak Gung Pete and his companions enters Mr. Lum Kai home, one of the eldest kung fu master alive. Noticed the house number on the upper right side? Couldn't be different.

VISITA A CASA DE UM DOS DISCIPULOS AINDA VIVOS DO PATRIARCA EM FATSAN: MESTRE LUM KAI

VISITING THE HOME OF ONE OF THE ELDEST DISCIPLES OF PATRIARCH IN FATSAN: MASTER LUM KAI

This picture shows Master Lum Kai besides Si Taai Po Helen and the group, an oficial picture when arriving at his home.

Lum Kai holds a Hung Bao given by the group.
An opportunity of sitting and hearing about Patriarch's style from... 60 years ago??? We really appreciate that.

Na foto além de alguns praticantes, observamos Mestre Lum Kai, Mestre Pete, Mestre Kevin Martin, meu Mestre Julio Camacho e Mestre Micky Chan.

On this picture, besides some practitioners we can see Master Lum Kai, Master Pete, Master Kevin, my Master Julio Camacho and Master Micky Chan.

At some moment, one of the present Masters asked Lum Kai about haw many of his comrades made to the Baat Jaam Do. Without flinching, the elder master answered: "All of them did..."

This was a great demonstration of hability from this master, because if he had answered that only him and a few had gotten there, he would be placing himself over his Si Hings. At the same time he couldn't lie about his Baat Jaam Do studies. So, without lying and
showing appreciation for his Si Hings, Master Lum Kai said "All of them". This way, he was included.

Then the group took leave in order to continue their journey through FatSan's streets after many chatting for a long time with one of the "living history" members of Patriarch Ip Man lineage.

MUSEU DO HUNG SUEN (HUNG SUEN TONG):

HUNG SUEN MUSEUM (HUNG SUEN TONG):

Knowing where you are in FatSan can be an almost impossible task sometimes. In this picture, Si Fu, besides the kind Mr. Michael Wong, searches for another historical adress.

Mr. Michael Wong is a long time friend of Si Taai Gung Moy Yat. He is part of the Kung Fu Family, even though he never trained. He is always full of energy, modesty and kindness, always ready to help. In this picture, the group arrives at Cantonese Opera Museum. Si Sok Fabio Gomes reveals his astonishment.

This place is simlpy magic for a Ving Tsun practitioner, as there are many miniatures of the Red Boats and other relics.

Unbelievable miniature of Cantonese Opera main branch. It is told that three Ving Tsun generations were connected to the Red Boats: Wong Wah Bo, Leung Lan Gwai and Leung Yi Tai. But on Leung Lan Gwai's case, a hidden revolutionist, this should have been the place were he spent most of his time, and not on the Opera Boats.

Repare no detalhe do Muk Yan Jong no lado direito da foto.

VISITA A CASA DE MESTRE KWOK FU. OUTRO DISCIPULO DO PATRIARCA EM FAT SAN

VISITING MASTER KWOK FU'S HOME. ANOTHER PATRIARCH'S DISCIPLE IN FATSAN

Master Kwok Fu receives Si Fu in his home, as well as the rest of the group. Another thrilling day before another "living history" member from Patriarch Ip Man's Lineage.
A esquerda, vemos Si Baak Gung Micky Chan.

To the right we can see Si Baak Gung Micky Chan, undoubtly one of the greatests names on Moy Yat clans since Si Taai Gung Moy Yat's first class in the U.S.A.

Judging by the clothes, you can notice that we're on the seventies, with one of the groups to whom which Si Taai Gung transmitted Ving Tsun. Sitting we can see an young Si Taai Gung. The second standing man from the left (besides Si Baak Gung Julian Cordero) is Si Baak Gung Micky Chan, really young too. Nowadays living in Hong Kong, Si Baak Gung, who already visited Brazil, was just like "Zico" on this trip. Being one of those who used a lot of kung fu, acting just like "mid-fielder" in order to guarantee that these awesome mettings would take place.

Si Taai Po Helen Moy ao lado de Si Taai Baak Gung Kwok Fu.

Si Taai Po Helen Moy besides Si Taai Baak Gung Kwok Fu.

After this meeting, the group went to the streets and met with this Si Fu, a relative of Si Taai Baak Gung Kwok Fu, that is responsible for coordinating this Kung Fu Family activities.

Si Fu poses for a picture while the group walks in order to visit this Kung Fu Family Mo Gun.

On this place, in front of the street, they keep this Family's Jing Tong in FatSan. Notice that even though the place may look plain, their Jing Tong is always spotless. A sign of good Kunf Fu according to chinese classical thinking. Notice that the two "wodden dummies" (muk yan jong) on each side buried in the ground.

Si Taai Po Helen Moy pays homage to the Patriarch onde more. Strictly, good manners between Kung Fu families teaches that the first thing you must do when you enter other family's Mo Gun is going to their Jing Tong and pay your respects. There is not a more effecient way to show respect than by through their ancestor represented on the Jing Tong.

That Family's Si Fu opens the activities with the Moy Yat Sang Clan group, his own Kung Fu Family's members and whomever wanted to take part.

No Brasil, temos a Capoeira.

Here in Brazil we have Capoeira. A martial art developed here by the African slaves.
Usually the Capoeira groups get together on the weekends organizing activities which we call "roda" (circle or wheel) on public squares, on the beach or even on the streets.
As soon as the "roda" is formed many people and other practitioners get together in order to see and even take part in the "game".

In this moment, during this great opportunity of observing Si Baak Gung Pete with the Gwan, the Ving Tsun "roda" on FatSan was already being formed.

Then "he" appeared and the roda grew even more...

When the night was high, Si Sok Fabio Gomes showed his Kung Fu once more.
"Say hello to my little friend!"

"Say hello to my little friend!"
In this free "roda", as there were a lot of attention between those who took part, anyone could enter.

And weren't a few that after a Chi Sau experience wanted to take a picture with that strange guy that appeared from nowhere and knew Ving Tsun.
Uma incrivel experiência!

An incredible experience!

Notice the curious image of those children coming back from school (far left side) watching the training on the streets. I'm speechless!

Even though we mess with Si Sok Fabio Gomes, there is absolutely no intention in disrespecting any practitioner from his side or from our.

I always remember my Si Fu's enthusiansm telling me about this factory rooftop, when he discovered that the employees gathered their own food on that garden.
